Main Street Marketing's principal director, Sharon Gordon has over 20 years of marketing and professional graphic design experience. Before coming to Chattanooga, she worked for several manufacturers in the floor covering industry as their marketing department handling all aspects of their corporate marketing including national product launch and brand management. She took both of her former companies from unknown suppliers to nationally "known" leaders which were both purchased by top competitors. Prior to her years in the floor covering industry, Mrs. Gordon worked as a graphic artist for an ad agency and a printer.

Early in Mrs. Gordon's career she gained experience in meeting planning working for Ivan Allen Company in Atlanta, GA, scheduling and coordinating meetings for their executives and sales team. She later worked for a leading floor covering manufacturer as trade show coordinator. She has experience working with large trades shows such as NeoCon, International Hotel Motel Show, Domotex, Coverings, Surfaces as well as regional and local conferences.

Mrs. Gordon graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in marketing and an emphasis in advertising. She continued her education by taking classes in pre-press production, bar code quality control, writing newsletters, graphic and text design at various institutions, including the Art Institute of Atlanta.
